Pig food for a game?

Hello there!

What does pig eat?

But not in real, like cartoon pig food.

I need this for a game where a pig collects food.

Does they like bacon? ( like cartoon or cómics pigs)

    pigs like bacon? bacon is FROM pigs haha! but that would be something funny to put in the game! um... they eat grass? I know they like rolling in mud.

    Well truffles probably won't play well... cause they'll just look like cartoon turds on screen. And mostly what pigs eat would be un-appetizing, a lot of corn and grain mash and old fruit cores and gunk out of a trough.

    But there is a common phrase, "eat like a pig" which applies to someone eating a lot of anything. So you can probably get away with ANY type of food, and people will associate that a pig will eat it.

    Lol.

    I read about truffles maybe thats a good thing for a game.

    I know that bacon is from pigs! Lol. That maybe would be fun, what do you guys think?

    I don't think bacon is a really good idea if that's the main thing to collect/eat in the game. Canibalism is a weird subject for such a friendly looking game and a character franchise. I just think it's not funny enough to make the game around that.

    I'm pretty certain pigs are mostly fed like leftover type food. Which is why its called slop. I could very well be wrong. I everything I ever learned about pigs came from movies lol

    On a more serious note from my last suggestion. ;)

    Pigs will literally eat almost anything. (yes anything.) so really what ever works with your game theme will likely be fine unless it is in fact disturbing like my first suggestion. That might just creep people out.

    But it's all out of context, right? I mean, for all we know, the game's called e-pig: Soylent Green or something ;)

    Definitely avoid cannibalism! They're omnivores who'll eat pretty much anything, suggest turnips, 'cos they're easy to draw and easily recognisable.

    Truffles are classically pig-related because pigs are used to sniff out and find them.

    I think apples would be funny too, because you stuff pigs mouth with an apple before roasting.
