Erik featured in 252 stores! Analasis

Hi guys, the data just came back on my app Erik It is featured in 252 stores. Im not sure if this is impressive or not, it is just a big number and Im glad to announce that Erik for iPad has been featured in a lot of different places. It probably has something to do with me releasing the lite version. Platformers are considerably harder to produce than your standard 1 level game and they tend to not do well on the app store. For these two reason there are not a lot of them. But I feel that I am way ahead of the curve on this one. Personally it is only a matter of time before most people become comfortable playing a platformer on a tablet. Even making this game I had to adjust my playing style. I much prefer the physical controls of an XBOX versus the tapping of a tablet. But tablet computing is here to stay and eventually people get used to the controls for platfomers on tablets.

    I thought Mondriaans first name was Piet, not Erik ;)

    Good luck on sales. Don't know if it is impressive, I'm not good at numbers. But any rise in numbers is good right?

    I was going to call it piet but in the end decided not to. And I agree any publicity is good publicity.

    Where are the listings. I would venture to guess they are either in sub category new and noteworthy or whats hot. or even more of a let down I have seen app annie and applyzer glitch before and list everywhere its listed in a release date section as a feature.

    Unfortunately I would not expect much from any of those locations. Thats my experience anyway.
