diplay text in viewer vs preview

I have a display text behavior that creates a new line in the GS preview, but not on the device viewer. Is the viewer more trustworthy? I'm pressing CTRL+enter to create a new line. Is that right?

    I figured it out. In case anyone else wonders this, copying text from TextEdit works for both.
