Objects start floating before play begins

I have these wood blocks in my game, and i have gravity put into them with the accelerate function. I have a rule that tells them not to accelerate "gravity" until the play button is pressed. the problem that im having is that before i press play when the level begins, all of my wood blocks start floating away and spinning... this is the last thing i have to fix before i release my game.

    To summarize, you have gravity unchecked and accelerate in a rule (when play button is pressed). That should work. I would check to make sure the wood block instances in the scene are correct as they may be unlocked and not picking up changes made to the prototype. Delete the wood blocks in the scene and re-drag the prototype in the scene. Does it function correctly then?
