Your equipement is seriously awesome too. Those things on the mixer are two mini mp3 scratch tables right?
I appreciate it I try to throw in some party music every once in a while, please; if you have any suggestions feel free to let me know. Thanks about my equipment I really hope there good, I payed top dollar for all of it. They're actually CDJ players. As you can see I'm using virtual software for CDs?
Here's what I do:
In the 2 CD Decks I have special CDs made by Serato. When I play them an interpreter plugged into my computer reads the high pitched signals being played from the CDs. So when I'm scratching, I'm actually scratching high pitched noises, the computer picks it up; and "scratches" the songs I loaded into the virtual deck in real time I then have my interpreter output the music playing from my laptop into my amplifier, going to my speakers and subwoofers

I love scratch actually, so these always intrigued me. Even though I like real vynils better, the possibility to scratch on any mp3 is just too awesome. Also, they are all included in the mixer, which is pretty cool.
I don't really "produce my own stuff". What I prefer to do is have 1 song playing with a background song behind it, and the same with another song, then mix the "2" songs, actually being 4. Then at the same time I'm handling the sampler & FX player.
So by the end it's a creation Thank you! Thank you for the feedback, I will try to incorporate in the mixes to the best of my ability
I was sitting at home today doing nothing and I figured to go all out on my technics & plan a mix. But, I ended up planning the mix as I was mixing. Everything took ten minutes. LOL! It actually came out quite nice, other than a few minor mistakes in timing (Which is what happens when you do stuff like this). Please post your opinions I'm looking for answers regarding the following:
- How is my choice of music?
- Obviously my other mixes will be WELL OVER planned out to perfection. But for a quick mix how was this, 1-10?
- Should I provide more quick mixes like this?
- Any future song suggestions?
- Like my technics? ;D
- How many camera views should I have in future mixes?
All feedback welcome
