So say i have a golf ball on a tee.
I want it the go in the direction i flick it ?
I have tried 'Throwing objects' on the GS cookbook, but with that you can drag the actor before throwing it. ?

I hope i made sense.

Open gamesalad. Go to new project and type in flick. It should be the first one. "Throwing / Flicking Demo"

    iv looked at that.
But it also has the problem in the video.
You can rag around the actor before throwing it, i just want it to stay still, you flick it.
And if i take the drag off it, then when you fling it, it jumps from the current position to the release position.

i looked at it, but im not prepared to pay for something that is probably not so hard if you have done it before.

can you use the flicking demo logic but make that ball invisible. then take the velocity magnitude data of the invisible ball and use it to determine the path that a separate visible ball will take?

    just an idea
