Display Car MPH (Speed)?

Hello

I am working on cars racing and how can I display the car speed or MPH on the scene?

    Use a HUD display in a non scrollable scene layer, with a rotating needle linked to the magnitude of the car speed. The needle is best done with a graphic that centred to the turning point of the needle so you don't have to use some complex offset, or you could have a lateral moving display or even a number. FOr this last one I would look at the custom score font demo by firemaple.
