Definitely, I remember when I was first brainstorming ideas for my first project. But I had to scrap it when I found that there was a grand total of two collision shapes.

i wonder (not being in any way programmer savvy) weather it wouldn't just be worth screwing the polygon collision and just going straight for per pixel collisions.... i saw some1 say something about GS's engine not being able to support it at the moment, but isn't that where its going to have to end up eventually?
do you think this feature would do collisions from the actual actor image or from seperate black/white maps?
too many questions not enough answers? lol
all i know is that in the short time i have been here this seems like the most needed and requested feature, would mean we could make some brilliant games thats for sure

will this upgrade include the ability to resize the default collision areas to our liking? i presume the polygonal ones would be drawn by the user?
