problem is that this type of games are no needed in todays market, there is too many of them
why would anyone buy yours unprofessional game with lack of original or beautiful art, gameplay or variety. For those money customer can buy something much much better like Angry Birds and fill their need for arcade gameplay for a very long time

What your games have to offer, that customer wants buy it no matter what?

just some thoughts, glad to help

I haven't had any downloads for the past 3 weeks for my $0.99 game. I set it to be free for a few days and I got over 300 downloads, but as soon as I set it back to cost a dollar It went right back down to 0 sales. :(

    BTW, your link is broken.

I believe either you make a huge hype for your game before you launch it or you make it free.... most ppl want free games and free apps, or over hyped apps.
i think we should make some cool games for free and use iAds.

Well I suppose I should ask. Asides from here on the GS forums, where else have people heard about your game?

Don't lose heart guys. You can be successful game devs if you learn to appreciate and enjoy making games. In other words...I don't recommend you trying to make a game to make money. Make your games to be better devs.

Now shake it off and go and make another one!

If you wanted to you could try sprucing up your game packaging a bit to make it seem more marketable (colorful bold logo, cuter character art, clean things up and accentuate them a bit). And also promote the hell out of it to anyone who'll listen. If you believe in your game and show passion you're going to generate at least some sales.

The Angry Birds guys made a lot of games you've never heard of before they struck gold. Now they're powerful, rich, and famous and we get to hear their opinions about everything. =)
