What is the best day to release your game on?

I vote Friday. The reason being is that people actually have a chance to play your game on the weekend. What is your opinion?

Why thursday? And what time?

I think it's because apparently they pick N&N on a thursday or something, not sure though.

Not just that. No one actually know the Apple ranking algorithm. But most people think a thursday release is most beneficial for sales.

Weekends have more downloads and supposedly its a 4 day weighted score - something like 7x release day + 4x 2-days previous + 3x 1-day previous + current day. That's a rough paraphrasing of what I've read in various places.
