Does anybody who is offer game making services advertise with Goodle Adwords??

Hey guys...

Thought I'd post a quick questions to see if anyone else is doing something similar.

I've just looked into setting up Google Adwords targeted at people looking to pay a developer to make games/apps. I've got some free Google vouchers to try out the service before I decide if its worth some investment.

Has anyone else tried out Adwords before? had much success...I can see if you were willing to spend 1000's each month you might get some interest from potential customers....

Either way...thought it might make for a nice little discussion...

    I was gonna try something like that a while ago for coding. I talked to a couple different developers and the general census with them was your far better just posting your service on craigslist, freelance.com and stuff like that. Ive done really well in the past with that too.

    I've seen some Google AdWords banner ads floating around, for a free $75 credit. So, it's free advertising if you're a first-time member.

    I've used AdWords before. It wasn't a terribly successful campaign... not for Photics.com anyway. For big companies that already spend millions on marketing, AdWords can be economical. However, I have received email for free advertising. I usually ignore it. But if another one shows up soon, I might use it and give AdWords another shot.

    With BOT and The Unofficial GameSalad Textbook, I feel that I now have two products that might be worth marketing.

    If you want, ill let you put an ad on my site for $5 a month but i can't guaranty you will get what you need. You can stop whenever you want if your interested.

    DAY 1 RESULTS

    Well after one day, with one ad on google Adwords... I got 11,000 impressions, 52 hits....and once job enquiry which could be a decent amount if they like my quote.

    It cost £11.34 out of my free allowance...

    Couple of headlines you might want to use - yes I like copywriting interesting headlines to catch attention :D

    Out of interest what headlines and sub-text did you use?
