Does having a Game Center leaderboard for each level increase sales

Ive noticed that some of the veterans on GS tend to have a leader board for each level. If you want more sales does anybody recommend doing this. Also is it recommended to have multiple leaderboards for each level such as points and time? is this something that the public is expecting of us developers?

It seems like a lot of extra work but if it increases sales I am all for that.

    See the problem is that I am not a person who enjoys the leaderboard system. Frankly I could care less so I need to know the opinion of people who actually like it.
