Is there anyway to have a top layer move across an not scrolling background? I need to have a large screen around 640x60000. But is there anyway to keep the screen size as 640x960 and just have the top actors and such scroll on top of an unmoving background? Thanks in advance please help!

Yes, I would be happy to do it for you. If you want me to do it email me at gsapp360@gmail.com. Just put the background on a different layer and stop it from scrolling.

If I read you correctly you have not the idea of scrolling the wrong way round, The scrolling is a layer that moves under the camera (the background) so should be checked in the scene attributes and the camera will have art that stays with it (non scrolling) in a layer (non scrolling) above the background items. By then having the camera set to follow an actor on the scrolling layer it will track it. This is done by applying a camera follow behaviour to the thing you want to follow.

hope that helps and I understand what you are trying to do
