xcode 4.2 preview

It seems I can publish my app not matter what i do(http://gamesalad.com/forums/topic.php?id=26291), so I was wondering if I publish do I need a real version or can I with the beta?

    ok so should i delete xcode, install 4.0.2, then publish or install 4.0.2 and have 2 versions then publish?
