Iphone 4 or macbook White?

hey guys,

shahroch from persian games here,

ive planned to buy a iphone 4 but then ive got to the apple store and saw the macbook white im planned to buy a iphone or a macbook PLEASE Help ME OUT! but ive got a mac mini 2009 so no iphone or something im planned now to buy the iphone 4 or should i buy the macbook? ive got a ipad 2 white too :) but dont know what to buy :( PLEASE HELP ME OUT!

    Think of it this way.

    You only NEED 1 mac to develop games but you NEED to test that game on as many devices as possible.

    So if its me and my mac works and i've got money to spend i'm gonna pick up a generation of iOS device I don't already have.

    Oh and if your gonna get a macbook get a mac book pro. Well worth the extra. But I would go the iPhone route if it was me. Then you'll have money left over to pick up a used iPad or something too.

    i think im going to buy the iphone 4 as tenrdmer said "You only NEED 1 mac to develop games but you NEED to test that game on as many devices as possible." yep im going to buy a iphone 4 THANKS GUYS! thx to "tenrdrmer" and "calvin9403" and "jonmulcahy" if you need to comment that i need to buy another thing just comment!

    Ya that's what I was thinking, it would suck to buy a new iPhone only to have a new one come out a day later. I'd wait.

    @wouter nope there wont be a iphone 5 :( otherwise they already said it at the keynote so! and i already got the ipad 2 white :)

    theres gonna be a iphone 5 no doubt about that. I would still rather have the 4 as my newer gen device though. If your stuff runs good on the iphone 4 it should run even better on a new device comes out, it doesnt work the other way though. Just cause something will run on the 5 (hypithetcially speakign when it comes out) it doesnt mean it will run good on the 4 and older

    yep i know there will be but maybe not this year because they even found out there will be a iphone 6 in begin 2012

    Ok you seem a bit niave. The rumor mill is just that. rumors. There is absolutly no sense in apple releasing an iphone 5 and then an iphone 6 a few months later.

    There will be a new iphone this year no doubt but its not necessary to wait since you also need older models for testing. Same with the iPad. When I mentioned picking up a used iPad I meant even if you have an iPad 2 because again it will play differently on the iPad even if it plays ok on the iPad2 You should also look into a 3rd gen touch or iPhone 3Gs used. It will help in the long run to have direct access to all of the devices as it is sometimes hard to get good feed back from others testing your games. If its not that interesting to them they will never play it and just say it played fine or tell you it sucked. So having access to all of them so you can test is very helpful.

    @tenrdrmer sorry for the late respond my father had a hearth attack so needed to go to the hospital hes fine now :( but i just go with the iphone 4 thx guys :)
