Power of 2 Character

I am using character size 23x44 for my game. I know its not power of two. And device read as 32x64 so is that ok to use 23x44? Beacuse I do not want to create memory issue.

the bigger problem is going to be the odd number, i'd change it to 22 or 24 if you can
