Hello,

I would like to make my actor as lifelike as possible and in order to do so I would like my actor's eyes to blink. How would I go about getting my actor's eyes to blink.

Thanks!

You will need some animations for that. GameSalad doesn't provide any tools on its own for that kind of project.

just make an animation for it and have a timer that says every 10 seconds animate actor blink.

That's what I would usually do but the actor is moving across the screen so i don't know how to have the animation and the actor stay together

The animation will go wherever the actor goes. (It helps if all animations are the same size).

No thanks hman360, I think i figured it out. I just didn't know that the animation would travel with the actor. Thanks for all the help everyone!

I like to create a random number generator. I make a timer that picks between 0 and 1 randomly every few seconds or so. Then I assign a rule for when that number attribute hits one, it fires of a image change to a blink version of my character for a short time.

The reason I use a random number generator is so that the blink looks more natural and not as if it's a pattern.
