Firstly I am a fan of HTML5 and love the option to export and all the possibilities from a promotional point of view but...

Its SOOO SLOW!!! :-( I'm on Google Chrome Version 13.0.7 with a superfast ethernet connection but I have yet to be able to play any of the games properly on the Arcade because I get fed up waiting.
For example clicking here: http://gamesalad.com/game/27640?start=1 - I end up bored waiting at QS's logo for about a week followed by the menu screen which takes for ever.

I played both Grisly Manor & Zombie Drop on the Chrome store worked fine, but the GS Arcade is operating so poor I would really worry about promoting any new game on there for fear of complaints. Imagine demoing a new title on TouchArcade forums only for them to think the actual game is so slow/buggy they don't want to play!!

I'm worried HTML5 may not be stable enough yet, hope GS can make improvements soon....

I would agree with you there.... it all just seems very...well....slow. Not to mention the edges of all the graphics are rough. It's a great start and has some good potential but as of yet not great!

As they have said in the past sometimes it takes a couple plays before it really picks up its speed because it caches everything on the first time through. Also the Chrome Store versions are probably preloaded into your cache when you download them so you get a better experience. I would hope everyone at least plays through their new upload before submitting the link to the public. That would be quit foolish. I have actually had little issue with playing the arcade games on safari and chrome. and some lag issues on firefox. And my internet is rather slow. maybe theres another issueis on your end and with you computer. Never know to be honest.

Anyways i'm sure as this is a very new thing for them they will find ways to make improvements.
