I only had a looked at the last one. The "ball catching one" and are you seriously selling this?. First all you did was modify the free pachinko template adding a movable behaviour to the "goal" catcher. Second its full of bugs. If you want people to buy your templates give them something useful and without bugs not something they can already get for free.

    @ johnPapiomitis:
Is that on a set of rules that we can fin somewhere in the GS website or are you just making stuff. No even Yodapollo said anithing about that. He just said that the post has to be on the marketplace.

LOL. this was discussed by a bunch of people and sous chefs the other day. The arcade shouldnt be a place for poeple to post tests or advertisments for stuff. The arcade will never be taken serisouly with stuff like that

I agree this stuff doesn't belong on the Arcade. Its intended for playable games not templates. I really hope GameSalad sets some rule for this Arcades its gonna be worse than the app store and completely worthless very soon if not.

Oh and not to mention some rules for the marketplace. You've been here all of a week and are magically creating templates. There really needs to be a proving process to offer things for sale to help prevent the massive amount of underage naive users from getting ripped off.

Do you guys enjoy attacking people? Does it make you happy? Does it satisfy you? Does it make u feel good about yourself?

I dont find what you two are doing to be seemed "right" it's just rude and very mean.

Did you read my post. I flat said why I think what your doing is wrong.

If you feel I am wrong please tell me why. Defend your self with a legitimate argument and not whining

Is it not true that you joined only a week ago?

I've been here for 4 months (I'm taking baby steps people lol) and I haven't even sold anything on the marketplace! I don't even think I have the capabilities and devotion to sell something on the marketplace. When you sell a template it should be original, something someone hasn't done before. These are things you made quickly with radio shack leftovers lol, it's like when your dad makes a burnt egg on saturday morning, ewww.

    You guys get my point.

I have to agree with tenrdrmer. Your first template, you posted about 10 minutes after you had joined. And to be honest your templates aren't really DIFFICULT to make even to the beginning user. That car racing template is an exact replica of a free car racing template a user made a couple months ago.

So if people discussed something it becomes a rule?
That is not even on the best practices.
I am not trying to get this out of proportion but if you are going to be a forum police just have prove of your statements.

    @ tendremer:
That is your opiniom but I disagree.
Right now on the arcade there are 2 sections. The Featured and the Newest games.
On the featured there are some of the best games created by GS users.
On the newest section there is everything else. From complete games, half games, test games, there are some that you dont even know how to clasified. Having said that I dont know why you said that it is intended for playable games no templates.
You are attacking this person because he is selling something and post it on the arcade? Some of those templates are better than some of the ones on the arcade. Have you contact or wrote about Akhilcodea, Tonvshie6447, storich, tstauch. Those people have put tests and a bunch of stuff that dont even make sense. Why you dont make an isue about them?
I have seen templates for sell on the market place that are not even good and I have not seen al this comotion.
I sincerely think its a great idea to test something before buying it and if there can be a Game Over game on the arcade, I dont know why this couldnt.

When you go to addictinggame.com or coolmath-games.com or any other flash game site. Do you see half complete !@#$% that doesn't work. or extremely basic things like templates. NO. you now why? because the point is to provide content that people will want to come back for and search for other good content. That is the point in the Arcade. GameSalad wants to have an HTML5 games site similar to flash games site. That will never be successful when it has far more junk than good content.

Its absolutely a must for them to make these parts of there site more legitimate to keep out the riffraff that will bring it down and be successful.

    Oh a real quick

Whats the last word in the title of those 2 sections?

This is exactly what I feared when I first found out about the Arcade. That people were going to use it as a "look at my template", "Look at my Scene 4, should I make the actor blue or red". Etc. In other words use it as a demo tool.

I completely agree with tenrdrmer, Arcade is a way to attract traffic to the site and make GameSalad a more popular tool. The more popular GS becomes the more they can offer to their pro members and even free users. If a random user wants to play a casual game online and stumbles upon GS arcade and finds half finished games or people trying to sell code. I dont think he'll come back again.

Maybe GS will need soon some QA guys approving games into the arcade. Lets just hope they dont take 8-10 days like apple :).

I completely undestand your point but dont take it on this person for doing less than what others have done. Take it on GS for not making a division or something that people could use to make a demo or something for other people to try or test.

And the last word is games I know you have a great power of deduction but let me ask again.
Have you contact any of the other people who have not post games on the arcade? Why on this person because he is selling stuff? He is not doing anything different from what other people have done. Like I said to you all, if you feel the need to bully someone, why dont you try GS for allowing all the people who have posted stuff other than games on the arcade?
@steve86 Well said. If GS will feel the need to regulate it, they will.

Just like with YouTube, there is content that really shines and is original and creative, and then there is the rest of YouTube.

It's not the best content, but it is content.

There should be a test arcade or something only available with a GS login, and then there should be a public arcade that is moderated by additional sous chefs and it should require approval to be made public from the private arcade. Just an idea...
