Hello,

Is there anyway to make one actor respond to the X and Y wrap while the others ignore it?

Cheers, Dragokillz.

You could make a rule so that when an actor's x and y coordinates are near the border for example if self.x is greater than 460 or less than 20 move camera x by 20. This is if you have a horizontal screen. To effect the scene camera x attribute you have to edit it when it is in the scene to get the scene attributes.

No, it's not a side scrolling game. Here, I will explain.

For my background, I have two layers for it. One layer, will stay put, while the other layer, will move around a bit. The back layer, is what I am want to move, so I want it to move horizontally, and vertically, but always responding to the x and y wrap. But I don't want the others to respond to it.

    Anyone got any ideas?

    Cheers, Dragokillz

Like in my first post you could do it for the x and y coordinates then whatever you want to move just put this code in it and it will move when the rule goes off. If something does not have this code in it, it will not move. That's what you want right?

No, nevermind, I'll figure something out, thanks for your help though.

I would avoid the wrap and use a background actor that is repeated or was a tiled out version and move that around. It would be a little dependant on what you have in mind so I cannot say for sure but I think most of what you want could be done this way. It sounds as if you are after some kind of vert and horizontal parallax and this can be done without wrapping.
