We just upgraded Gamesalad to publish an update for our game but all the sounds are gone.
Anyone knows how to solve this issue?
Thank you

Are the sounds gone? or are they there and they just don't play?

I have a game in 0.9.5 using sounds just fine.

If the files themselves are gone then just reimport them and see if that solves it. If they are not playing at all I would re-import all of them first and then submit a bug report if that doesn't help

    They just don't play..
    We tried to:
    - reimport them overwriting the old files with the new but nothing happened
    - remove them but we can't(Gamesalad freezes)
    - remove them from their folder but when we re-open the project(with the empty sound folder) the 'old' sounds are still there.
    Don't know what to do..

a bunch of us have this same problem discussed in this thread:

So far we've narrowed it down to having a core duo intel mac instead of a core 2 duo, or better.
Sounds used to work, so it's a change in the GameSalad code. If it isn't fixed, there's no way I can finish my games, as a new computer is very very not in my budget.

I tried the game into an intel core 2 duo and you were right! It works, all the sounds are back!
    Thank you very much!
The question now is how to properly export the certificates into this mac?

some of my sounds didnt work so i removed the old rule play sound, replaced it with a new play sound rule, re- assigned that particular sound effect and hey presto worked fine

You can actually backup your certificates and then restore them on the new mac.

Guess I missed the core 2 duo thread. Thats interesting.

I wish the Devs wouldn't miss that thread. :(

    @tenrdrmer
I exported the certificates from the 'old' mac but an error message says that they are "signed by an unknown authority", I think it's because I don't have a public key with my name on this computer.. I can't understand out how to create it
    thank you

Head Chef Tourniquetism confirmed the sound bug being a core duo compatibility bug and put it at the top of their to do list. See this thread: http://gamesalad.com/forums/topic.php?id=26175#post-form-anchor
