Relative to scene screwing things up?

I am currently altering Kill the King to use a fire button, and it shoots the cannonball fine if 'relative to: actor' is selected, but the ball needs to fire from the cannon's position (variables saved globally).

The problem is, selecting 'relative to: scene' causes the ball to appear for a second at the side of the screen.

The ball isn't even behaving the same, so I know the position isn't the only problem. Anyone else experience this?

Not quite sure if im understanding.. by side do you mean left? and did you change the coords when switching from actor to scene?

Oh my god that's annoying. In the equation editor it was typed out correctly, but it wasn't selected through the little menu system so it was all effed up.

    Argh but yay.
