Developing Apps for Clients Question

Hi guys,

I have a quick question please. I have a client that would like me to build an app for them. I'm not sure what the best way to set this up would be. I will be working on it in my office and the client lives across the country. Please let me know if I have it correct:

1. Client registers as an Apple developer
2. I register my iPad with the client as a development device
3. I build the app in my office and email the build to them to upload to apple.

Please let me know if I have these correct. Thanks:)

I would get their UID and then add it to your devices, then send them ad-hocs. It avoids them having to deal with the tech side of things and limits what they have in hand if you dont' get paid...

I also had a client contact me about doing a custom app for them. She hasn't given me the idea yet, but I know the general audience for the app. Should I charge by the hour or just come up with a final price?
