Plot Projectile Trajectory ORBZAMPLE - Plot Point Questions

I've been looking over the "Plot Projectile Trajectory ORBZAMPLE" by ORBZ for an archery game idea I'd like to try and make. I have to questions:
1) I'd like to move the gun to another place on the screen, but when I do that the plot plots (that is, the trajectory) still spawn from the old position. I've been trying to play around with some of the math functions, but I can't make it work. The math is very complicated!
2) I'd also like to have collision obstacles that would stop the plot points from passing through. I'd love to find a way for the plot points to simply hit the obstacles and stop instead of continuing off screen.
See, http://gamesalad.com/game/3224 or search "Plot Projectile Trajectory ORBZAMPLE" on Gamesalad for the template.
Thanks for your time.

Before posting, I did search this site. The only thread that I found that directly dealt with the ORBZ template was one in which, at the end of the thread, the original poster was just going to contact ORBZ himself/herself because none of the other posters could figure out the math either. I didn't want to do that because I do not know ORBZ and do not want to be a nuisance. That's why I posted here.
Anyway, thanks again for your help.
