GameSalad to make an iPad 2-layer one-screen game?

Would it be possible to use GameSalad to make an iPad 2-player one-screen game where the screen is split into two, and actors displaying different images randomly pop up on both sides of the screen, but there is one actor on each side which is the "correct" one, and whoever touches the correct one first gets the point?

I'm new to GameSalad, and understand that there are limitations to what it can do vs just straight up coding, and wanted to be sure this concept was feasible before getting in too deep!

If you don't need a real split screen (by that I mean with different cameras moving on both), this looks like a pretty simple game to make.

I don't think gamesalad limitations would be any problem for this concept.

Yes. Very possible and pretty easy stuff. have to make the button areas discrete to each player but that is also very straight forward.

    good luck.

It would be so tempting to touch opponent's side screen to make him lose haha!

Okay good to know it's doable, and likely easy!

Will dig around for some relevant tutorials that I can modify to make it happen.

    Thanks!
