Sliding to the next scene when pressing a button

Hi guys so excited about using game salad, plus I am a newbie so please bear with me

I have worked out how to press a button, which changes the style of the button, and upon release of the button it changes to the next scene. But I think many agree that when pressing a button to change to the next scene, the transition is boring. I have searched the forum endlessly to find an answer to animate the transition to the next scene, but I can't find anything.

Like in most iphone apps where you click a button to move to the next page, it slides to the next page. Is there anyway of doing that on Game salad? where the user clicks a button to go to a specific page, and when they click, it slides across to the next page.

This is something that is so important for my app development so any help will be appreciated.

There are no transitions built into GameSalad for scenes. About the only thing you can do is slide the camera over to a loading image or something or have an actor that causes a fade in out. But there is no way to actually slide between scenes

create a button drag it onto the scene double click it to open it ,drag a rule in there when touch is pressed change attribute current scene camera either x or y axis and put in your destination where you want the camera to move to then where your camera moves to put another button in there with the return x and y value , you can use instead of change attribute interpolate as it's smoother as you can put how long it's going to take to move over to that part of the screen,so instead of making 2 scenes you can double the width of your current scene, helping with loading times
