i want to make some small balls

im making a billiards(pool) game and so i need some small balls(28x28) and so i make up some 28x28 balls in inkscape and when i import them to gs, they turn out fuzzy, so i then tried making a 100x100 ball and then resizing it in gs but it still turned out very fuzzy. Any ideas?

    Make them 56x56 and turn on resolution independence, or use 28x28 and turn res. Independence off, but then you'll lose the retina graphics.
