gamesalad arcade HTML5 - processor under heavy load?

Not sure if anyone else has experienced this but my fan in my laptop goes nuts and i assume processor usage must be up (hence the fan) when playing any of the gamesalad arcade games in my browser.
if i close the browser with GS arcade in it, the fan gradually reverts back to slow fan as the processor cools down im guessing. Using a 17' Macbook Pro with i7's and 8gb.
