Identifying instances

G'day,

I can't find any documentation or topics on pointers, it seems that GS does not deal with them.

Is there another way to identify instances of an actor?

    It is possible to id an instance even if it is birthed after the start of the scene. I did this with internal rules that checked a counter in game attributes, take the next number for an id and then adding to the number to make it ready for the next spawned actor.

    you can also edit the name attirubte of the instance to make it easier to find so you dont have a bunch of actors with the same name in the scene
