just would like to know thats all, iam not planning leaving gamesalad, but i see some good games, especially shooting games with a lot of actors or big scenarios, how can they run good and here with gs we should be carefully not to use a lot of actors, etc, etc

Every SDK has it limitations The only way to be fully unleashed would be straight xcode. And yes those games can have better performance because they can code exactly how they want the memory to work etc...

When it comes to memory management, GameSalad is not the best. Everything has limitations, but way less then GameSalad as GS has to code it all into a drag n drop interface. Corona's roadmap is extremely boring. Know why? They already have everything on the GS roadmap. Multiplayer, in app purchases, android, universal app builds, all of it.

Everything other then Xcode has limitations. But not as much.

yeah i was especially talking about xcode, i see some games that have multiplayer online and i dont know how the hell can there be so many players at once and no crashing, by the way how can i test the limit of my game on gamesalad, sometimes i get the rainbow circle like its loading or freeze by i have no idea how can i tell if my game will crash?

Game Maker and Stencyl are way more flexible (although they don't run on iOS), but they also got performance limitation. They can handle a lot more actors but they arent quite as powerfull as Xcode, C++, etc.

GameSalad is new, but I think the main limitation is it's functions. Once they get their big features done, hopefully they will start adding flexibility on their road map.
