Still a bug with resolution independence?

So i finally updated to 9.5 and started messing around with "bugs" in the previous version.

One thing I noticed was that before, Resolution Independence was not saving properly. When opening a game file it would always be unchecked.

Now with 9.5 when I check resolution Independence my images look fuzzy and terrible. When i uncheck Resolution Independence they are crisp and clear.

yes my images are sized for RI, backgrounds are 960x640 and such.

Whats the deal with this?

Your images must be an even number of pixels wide and high else they will look fuzzy when resized down. The reason being that if you had an image that is 245x245 on hi-res, when resized it would be 122.5x122.5. As there is no such thing as a half pixel it just screws up the whole image and makes it blurry. TBH it would be nice if it just rounded up to the next pixel, but it doesn't.

Darren's project optimizer can scan your project and advise you on all offending images, or you can go through them manually, one at a time.

Thanks for the reply, sorry I was out all day so I couldnt respond.

It looks fuzzy on all of my images even ones with the even numbers. ie the background at 960 X 640.

And its not a minor distortion, I'm talking almost 50% difference in quality making it look absolutely horrible.

but when i uncheck RI it looks like it is supposed to and did before 9.5 update.
