How do you jump?, I've forgotten and the platformer tutorial way is really out of date, Ive tried copying code from some templates I got but they don't work very well, my game is a jump and run endless game with scene gravity Y enabled at 1000, should I use accelerate in my actor at 270 degrees instead of scene gravity? Thanks in advance for this Newbie question.

Always have a constant down velocity on your actor which would act like 'gravity'

    Do not use Scene Gravity

Why shouldn't you use Scene Gravity?

This is an excellent example of why we built Cookbook.

I encourage everyone to offer their method of jumping as a separate answer in that question; this way people can easily find the answer to this question without having to re-ask it (as has been done many times).
