yeah a few times, I've had it where suddenly a button wont work anymore...always fixes after closing and reopening....assuming you save regularly...

Yeah it comes back after a close but you need to change the event again... i saved it and quit it worked but it did the same thing a couple minutes later? Do you have any other suggestions?

What do you mean by it won't let you change anything? The settings in the rule are unchangeable? In what respect? You have to change the "e" expression entries by clicking on the attributes instead of typing them in and then make sure you click the green checkmark to save the change.

If you mean it won't let you change, or even enter a field to change it, then I would try a reboot and then re-install.

I am still having this problem It won't let me change the stuff under player receives event. I have tried shutting down my computer and reinstalling the program and i am still having the problem... Has anyone else had this problem if so how did you fix this?

Oddly enough, I just had the issue (if I understood you correctly), where a rule based on input of some sort wouldn't allow any changes. I just deleted the entire rule, rebuilt it, and then saved. Must have been some fluke. I think it stemmed from copying the rule from a very similar actor.

Yeah thats exactly the problem but the only difference is it keeps on happening to only one of my actors... all the actor does is walk off screen then back on. I tried making a different actor that did the same thing and i got the same problem

Are you creating the rules fresh or copying them over from other actors?
