    Bipola,

For future reference, this is a great question to raise in the GameSalad Cookbook.

However, I'll give you a quick answer here. Currently, while you can create a level landscape in another editor and import it, the collision shape of the image will be square (or rectangular, of course) or circular. Polygon collisions are scheduled for Fall 2011.

You can approximate an uneven surface by constraining together multiple objects, but that's a separate question. I encourage you to check out GameSalad Cookbook and ask your questions on how to use GameSalad there!

No worry bipola86 (hope thats not your real name ;-{)) Simply make a big image - max is 1024 x 1024 - then stick that in the scene. That image will be our "visual level" As it can't be literally physical. Make an invisible square, that will collide with everything. and a circle bounded shape (change this under "physics" in the left side attribute sidebar. This will allow some variation in our game level, to match your image.

Okay donket! Now, we just put a whole lot of those invisible shapes onto our level, and place them where the visual level is. To help keep track of where the invisi-level-pieces are, we can make the color a bright red, and simply put a change color alpha behavior on startup to remove that.
