Game Center posting problem

When testing my ad hoc app for Game Center functionality everything works fine except my scores do not seem to post. I have read here that it takes a little while for Apples servers to update, but how long are we talking exactly. Minutes, hours, days? I have not got a score to post once yet and it has been 2 days now, is this normal?
