Happy day! after giving up for a while I finally got the GS viewer to work.

Still one slight problem. when I open GS and I press the Preview game on iPhone, a side menu appears and the option for my Mac mini appears. when I click this is goes to a screen with an iphone and it gives me that statistics of my game.

My last problem is now I do not know how to get the actual app on my iPhone so I can test with the phone itself. Any thoughts on this would help out a lot.

Yes, my phone and Mac are on the same Wifi connection

Any chance you can tell me what you did to make it work?? I'm having problems with it too!

I assume you have read through the iPhone publishing tutorials and the walkthrough for building gamesalad viewer on your iPhone or iPod touch.

At first my problem was I did not read through both of these tutorials fully. Once I did it became a little more clear to me and I was able to fiddle with the viewer and get it to work.

    http://gamesalad.com/wiki/developing_for_iphone:getting_started

go here and read through this and at the bottom of every page click the new link for more instructions on how to set up app id, provisioning profile, and all that good stuff.

then go here once you have set up all app ids and other necessary prerequisites.

Like I said my main issue was not fully reading instructions, but once I did it all came clear to me. and the errors should be easier to understand once you have read through this as well.

also what helped me out was deleting the previous GSviewer file I had on my mac, and downloading a new one and starting over.

    hope this helps.

any other thought on why I cant get my game to test on my actual iphone. I can get it on the iPhone sim that come with xcode.

Can anyone help me out with this.

I looked in my app dev center and made sure that my phone is a registered device. I cant seem to find out why it does not let me test with my actual phone.
