Image changing when made contact with

Say I have a block and when something else collides with that block I want to change it to another image so it looks damaged, how would I do this? I keep looking for tutorials on it and I can't seem to find any.

    Do when actor overlaps or collides with the block, change image to whatever the next image is.

    Create a rule:

    When actor overlaps or collides with actor 'block'
    Change image to the image you want.

    Can I make it so that every block changes when the actor comes in contact with it with just the rule on the actor or will I have to go in and change that for every block? Is there any way to make it like a certain amount of damage will have that effect for instance like the block falling and it changing? Thanks for the help

    If you put more then one block in the game, then i assume when you hit a certain block, it will change to look damaged.
