don't hold your breath. you need a mac to publish to the app store even with game salad. You MUST have Xcode installed and you must have the developer certificates.

I highly recommend that you get a mac. I got a mac to make Iphone apps and I will never go back to a windows machine

I have a Mac and A Hackintosh - I can use GS on both pretty successfully. Have look to see if your Windows PC can Dual Boot with Mac - you can just google 'Dual Boot PC OSX' and probably find tutorials etc.

Don't forget to legitimately buy your copy of OSX.

I've heard that you need very specific hardware to make a hackintosh, but providing you have it then it shouldn't be too hard.

I have a new beefed up Gaming PC, & I just run a VMWare version of Snow Leopard. Works great, works fast & lets me work in both the Mac & PC environment at the same time on my 30in monitor.

My mac is just sitting collecting dust now though =(

You do need specific hardware - but its not uncommon for many retail Laptops / Desktops that come with the specific hardware needed. My Dual Boot is on a 2yr old Dell Studio Laptop and runs perfectly.

I don't understand why I HAVE TO buy a Mac. There are millions of PC users. How can you ignore them? Isn't this a business? You are lossing money, GameSalad team. :( And what if I want to develop only for web and Android? Why you think I must like Apple?

if gamesalad ran on windows, you would still need a mac to publish

MAC IS 50,000 TIMES BETTER THAN WINDOWS. Besides, gamesalad doesn't support android yet.

I don't understand. You still need a mac to publish games to Android? (when publishing to Android is available this fall)
