Black lines appearing when testing on device

When my camera moves to the right there is a black line appearing between two images. I even tried overlapping the two images but the black line still appears.

This is happening while I test on my iphone 4. I don't see the black lines when previewing the game in gamesalad, only when testing on my device. I feel like this issue has been addressed before, but I can't find the right threads(s).

I appreciate any kind of help at all.

    I had similar problems with panning large images as part of a very large background. First thing I would test is to change the scene background colour to see if you are seeing a gap or a glitch. If the line changes colour i would overlap the images at least 2 pixels. Also I would make sure the images start exactly 'on pixel' by adding a change attribute out of a rule to set the start position. This would hopefully have them moving in sync somewhat better.

    If these things don't sort it then... Shout again.

    you probably need to overlap the images more

    @old_kipper, John:

    I just tested what you guys said but the line is still appearing. I changed the background color to yellow and the line still appeared as black on the device. To be safe I even overlapped the images by 10 pixels and the black line still appeared in the same spot, so I don't think its an overlap issue.

    ...mmmm... Are you images resized as actors in the scene from the images native res? Have you tried temporially replacing them with a solid colour image file? Does that still cause a problem?

    Are you using standard colour blending mode?

    Do shout if you sort it and even if not.

    wow!

    I just found this wonderful thread from Joe(FMG) and it seemed to have fixed my problem. http://gamesalad.com/forums/topic.php?id=9378#post-66410

    All that needed to be done was to add some kind of transparency to the images by taking out a pixel from the edge. Thanks Joe for the helpful thread!

    Old_kipper & John: I really appreciate your help as well :)
