Others seeing the game before uploaded on the App Store?

Hi everyone, I'm still very new to this and i have a question to ask.
I'm half way finished my game and i want to test it out on my iphone. However, I will need to publish the game first in order for Gamesalad to turn it into an app. So the question is, will others be able to see or know about my game, even though it's not on the App store yet?
I have heard others getting their games stolen before the game was finished because of this, and I sure don't want that to happen.
So can you guys please give me more info on this? thanks
