whats a good free program that takes a video of whats on your screen?

Screenflow is one of the best I would say. It also gets rid of your mouse cursor when you want it to. That would be good for making your game trailers. I use it. There is also Camtasia.

For capturing video of apps, I like Sound Stage.

Someone told me that it didn't record computer sound?

Not sure. I heard that from someone though. Screenflow does it all. You can do lots of editing with it. I would check out both.

Sound Stage will record sound but you have to set it up with the preferences.

Hello everyone,

Do you know of a free screen cam software for mac that I can use to create a video of the game? I am thinking of using the preview on gamesalad to play the game and record the video.

Any ideas?

For me sound stage has been the best. I tried screenflow and my computer isn't fast enough to record smooth footage.
