Hi Everybody,

In the midst of developing my game. I've added a story line to the game.

Let me know what you think, what you like, what you don't like or any other feedback, suggestions or comments.

Thanks in advance!

****************************************************************************************

Location: Earth - High Orbit
Year: 2204
Event: Annual Interplanetary WalleyBall Competition
Prize: Celestial Sphere

A simple game invented 50 years ago, WalleyBall has since become a interplanetary phenomenon.

As humans travelled through space, they made alliances with other worlds. Visiting travellers from these worlds found the Earth sport simply amazing. They introduced Walleyball to their home worlds. The game offered them competition, entertainment and an increasingly challenging sport that offered the use of both mind and body.

It's popularity spread fast and by 2183, athletic competitions where taking place on other wolds as well. Some worlds held them yearly, others held them every 2 years, while others held them every 5 years.

Over time, as technology evolved, so did the game. It has evolved from a terrestrial game in 2154, to a high altitude game in 2176. An Interplanetary Walleyball Committee (IWC) was established in 2193. A year later, athletes from 7 planets have competed in a High Earth Orbit (HEO) arena. Since then, the competitions have been going on every two years.

The athletes represent their home worlds. All of them have one goal; to capturing the honour and glory for their home world by winning the Celestial Sphere.

Let's play WALLEYBAAAAAAAAAAAAAALL!!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks for the suggestions. Very much appreciated. I totally agree with you about a value of a story line if other important aspects of the game are not appealing i.e., graphics, functionality, etc.

I will be focusing on all the other points that you mentioned as well.

I dont intend on writing a book any time soon. Unless the game becomes a moive then hopefully Hollywood will hire me to do the story stript...LOL :)
