Image Flip Question

Instead of having to double your images you can use image flip,so my question is
using image flip will save on game size ,but would using image flip increase ram usage as it has to process flipping that image.instead of just playing it.

    I would say image flip gives better performance than having an extra picture, especially if you have a lot of animation. I have a lot of animation, and since I used the flip, my game works much better.

    I changed one large animation of a project to image flipping and the ram usage dropped from 66 to 60 MB Id say its helps A LOT!!!!
