Bumping Old Threads

Hello Everyone,

I was recently reading an old thread and someone replied in the thread 2 months after the thread was started. Then someone said "Please do not bump old threads". I was just wondering why you are not encouraged to reply or "bump" old threads?

I see, What if it wasn't related to gamesalad problems? What if it was talking about something else?

Generally If the post was made several months ago a newer version of GameSalad is out and the issue that come with it are different. So the information is likely outdated and will just confuse people. I do believe I know the thread you are talking about and if so it was about weather or not Lion would work. And the reason in that case I asked not to bump old threads was there were several threads within the previous 24 hours. addressing the issues people were having with the current Lion Release and not the 2 month old developer beta. again the information is based on an outdated version of the software when there is current information available.
