Animation speed to follow actor's speed

Hello!

So, I have a walking animation, and would like to see it's fps increase based on the speed of the actor. You know, where the legs will move faster if the character is moving faster. I imagine I could set it up so that the actor changes its animation entirely based on a progression of speed, but I imagine having enough animation sets necessary for a smooth run would kill the system. Has anyone been able to achieve this, and if so, how? Thanks in advance!

sorry to say, but because it doesnt allow you to input a function for fps, there is no way to change animation except for making completely different animations. This might be changed later with the future sprite update.

search 'animation controller' in the new menu in the editor. Firemaple did a very good demo of this and it has the set up for doing it. The only proviso I would say is that action changes as someone moves from a walk to a run but with a couple of sets of animation linked with his controls on both should work very well.
