hi everyone, i have just started making a new game for the iphone. i have come into a problem....
here is the prototype (started a couple of mins ago :P):
http://gamesalad.com/game/play/37009

-my problem is that when you spawn more blocks on top of each other the blocks start sliding without stopping(slowly).
i mean... if you spawn a block on top of another block and it falls off it the block underneath will start sliding off the base.

-another thing i need help with is how i can get the highest block to control the camera.
-and make a score that is something like: the higher you get the more points you have.

thx

hi , updated. now i have a big problem...
when the tower goes out of the scene:(the origin of the camera)
and i press the mouse button, the "block" spawns in the origin of the camera area where it started.... not where the camera is at that moment. try building the tower and u will notice it

ok updated. solved everything but i still have a problem:
i have created an actor that controls the camera and it does:
    every 0 seconds
    move to
x: 240 y:game.score-150 (the gamescore corrisponds to the highest point on the y axis the blocks have reached.)

now i need to know what rule i have to add to say: when tower of blocks falls or there are no more blocs in the cmera view fall down to highest block. sry if i have explained badly.
if u dont understand try the game create a tall tower and let it fall. u will notice the view doesnt follow.

I can't help you, but you could really write it down, how you solved the problem, because other people may have the same problem.

Here are not only pros to answer questions and you are not the only newbie :-)
If you already know the answer, you could share, so other people know it too and don't have to ask it again.

If you write "i solved it" nobody from the advanced users will take the effort to write down the solution, but nobody from the newbies know, how to solve such a problem.

And please make explaining topic titles. "Need help" is not a topic title and nobody likes such titles on the net and most people ignore such topics.

I have to agree with Netuddki here! :)

If you have a problem, and if you can find them, maybe you can hire... the A Team!

Or rather, if you have a problem, ask for help, and have solved it, it'd be great to say how! Will help people when searching for similar info (especially if you've included the problem in the subject title!)

    Cheers,

    QS :)
