Working on a train track puzzle game, idea is to be given a set amount of pieces and connect them to get train from A-B.

You can place pieces anywhere and the train will follow.

The train is moving very smoothly because I'm not using the move to attribute.

There's no hidden actors it's all done in code so its very light even with 100 puzzle pieces in play.

Darren.

@beefy_clyro i don't think he will answer that question as then someone may move it to the market place once he does. Its a great idea posting like this before its a template. I may have to start doing the same thing :)

Yeh very true, tis a good move

Sorry, I have to disagree with you.

The whole point of the marketplace is that people who want to buy a template, or look for a service, or offer a service, know where to go to find this stuff and post about it.

If everyone started doing what you're suggesting Darren's doing, tshirt, then the main forums would be chaos.

Please don't do this - there is, as I've mentioned, a designated area. Also, there's a template update thread on the main forum in which you can put upcoming and new stuff.

I have no problem with you guys wanting to make money on templates, and I look forward to Darren's game.

But please do not start doing this, otherwise *everyone* will do it, and you'll f***ing ruin the forums.

Cheers, and look forward to your game, Darren!

Fair points fella and i see this is something you feel passionately about ... however, the forums are already ruined to a degree! Also, i dont think swearing is a clever move on your behalf! As you know, there are a *lot* of kids on here and as a sous chef, you should be leading by example, cleaning the forums up where possible and not putting profanities in your own posts! I definitely understand your concern about *everyone* doing it!

I don't want to see them get worse, especially if it's something that can be easily avoided.

Point taken, and I've edited my post. To be fair, I do the stuff you mention, and very seldom swear in front of the little ones. I just imagined the clusterTruck :D the forums would become, and lost it a bit ;)

I have to agree with QS.
Also since you bring up kids on the forum, I would not be completely against an age limit on the forum users Apple says you need to be 18 so why should GS be any different. really allowing underage users GS is encouraging People to break Apples Rules. One way of looking at it of course.

I certainly would feel for the handful of responsible users who are underage but the is also a staggering majority of kids who are looking to throw as much junk at the wall as possible and hope something sticks. It may very well be a contributing factor to the forums being ruined as you say that are.

Wow I like this openness. Anyone wanna take bets on how many more posts before this turns into a pissing match and gets closed now?

Of course you do, you know i respect you greatly so certainly wasn't having a dig, i just detected your frustration of what it might become and with a rush of blood you let your calm demeanour down!

I certainly wouldnt be against it. Theres some smart kids here that are doing their stuff in the right way but then theres a lot higher percentage that are not! I have to admit, i used to love these forums and spent countless hours on them, it used to be something special and the best forum i had ever been on. Now, its just like the rest and has lost everything about it that made it awesome. Dont get me wrong, its still useful, i keep an eye on it, but any member that was here from around the start will know what i mean. Heck, none of the old schoolers really post on here anymore! Its a shame but was a given once it went free and expanded! Simple features like 'subscribe to topic' that has been broke for like ever has also killed the forum for me, keeping track of anything these days is nye on impossible!

lol what is the point of that? Age limits online are completely useless, as you said apple says you need to be 18 and that doesn't stop any minors..
