Do GameSalad employees have access to all templates?

Provide evidence as to how you know this.

    Depends on what templates you are talking about. If it's the ones that are built in to the game creator, then yes, they have access to all of them. If it's from individuals that make templates for the marketplace, then no, they don't have access to them.

    Hi, this seems a very strange question...

    Unless the creator of the templates have given a free copy to GS, then employees of GS would have to buy the costed ones, just like everyone else.

    Like Gyro said, they won't have access to those templates since those are made by the community.

    If you are looking for templates, I suggest you buy them from the developer directly. If you noticed the other day your post got deleted altogether, because you wanted to trade for those templates. Around here that is a big no no. We had drama over this same issue once before, and the person doing it got banned, (even though he pops in from time to time on another account) because he was backhanded and seedy about it, emailing people and offering trades for templates.

    I'm not saying that is what you are doing by any means, because you came out front with it, and didn't try to hide anything, you just weren't aware of the situation. Templates are a touchy subject around here now because of that previous drama.

    @SlickZero of course I had no idea about the policy. This being said I haven't received any templates that I haven't paid for :) Thanks for clarifying.

    @Gyroscope do Sous-Chefs have access to free templates?
    Because if they publish to play on GS, do they first have to give their templates to GS to publish them on GS website?

    This really Question really makes no sense to me. If the person publishes it to the website and checks downloadable then yes everyone has access. But otherwise no. GS Employees have no special access nor do sous-chefs. Everyones work is there own and no one has a right to it unless the individual creator grants access to everyone.

    This is fine, I was enquiring because I thought when I had published my game to GS so the community can play/ enjoy the experience of my game I didnt want people to steal my template. Tenrdrmer cleared it up :) thanks. Sorry if I worded it incorrectly. Tenrdrmer gave me the response I was looking for :D thanks again

    Even if the gamesalad employes did they got better things to do then steal your template ;)
