Uploading game to iPhone

I don't want to publish my game to a website or advertise or all that stuff. All I want to do is upload my app to my iPod and just have it for myself. How do I put it on an iPod?

It's a bit of a process. Firstly, you need to get an iOS developer license for $99, which seems like a bit of a waste if you don't plan to put your game on the app store. The rest is outlined in the link below.
