Does anyone know if it is possible to see gamesalad codes?

I am currently working on this project the require some database to store some information.
I believe if i could see the codes I can somehow link to a database to allow the app to save game or some how.

Unfortunately, no, you cannot see the code. Databases aren't possible yet either, but tables and arrays are supposed to be coming in a future update.

Yup you do not get access to the code but you can save your game. You need to save whatever you need saved into attributes and then use the save attribute behaviour, you then need to use load attribute to load whatever you are saving at the start of the game.

I think you can see the GS 'engine' that is behind GS as a very complex presentation tool. What you are doing is giving it lists of assets, instructions, timings, and interactions, etc, in the form of lists (XML) and folders of assets (sounds and images). These can be found in the package contents of your working file. It takes theses and presents them. You have no access to the engine. It is their's, and only their's to modify, much like you not being able to modify any program that you use to make things. It is the document it addresses that you can.

The editor preview and device viewer are variations of the engine that is packaged with your assets as the finished app. In the finished app there are certain things changed and this makes the un-packing of the created game close to impossible to access, and modification of the complete package may well break it.

    hope that helps
